To keep attracting the best talent, we've recently optimized our Talent Acquisition Policy. This revised policy encompasses improved internal application procedures, strengthened partnerships with hiring agencies, and strict adherence to official regulations— ensuring that we sustain a vibrant, inclusive work environment for everyone at QIAGEN.

We actively encourage continuous feedback through several channels, including our Pulse Check employee surveys, which help leaders assess decision-making and focus on specific engagement topics.

The health and safety of our employees is a top priority at QIAGEN. We take responsibility for protecting our employees against accidents and work-related illness and are constantly working to strengthen our health and safety culture.

Our initiatives

Monitoring health & safety performance indicators

We monitor our health and safety performance using safety indicators calculated from reported, documented and investigated safety incidents. At our key manufacturing sites, we champion QIAttention Campaigns to promote awareness of the importance of reporting near misses and safety observations. These dedicated awareness campaigns supported an increase in the number of near misses and safety observations reported. This enabled us to successfully introduce measures to keep our employees safe, leading to a reduction of lost working cases by 63% in 2023 compared to 2022.

Promotion of employees‘ health

Our Global Employee Assistance Program is available to all QIAGENers and their immediate families worldwide at no cost. Through this program, employees and their immediate families can access confidential, anonymous counseling for any topic related to mental health and find support related to child and family care, health and lifestyle, legal and financial advice.
