International Engineering Graduate Program

Are you an ambitious engineering professional looking for a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to gain global operations experience? In our International Engineering Graduate Program, you'll undertake structured rotations that expose you to day-to-day business across a global company. Upon completion of the program, you’ll take on a permanent role within our Engineering team in the U.S.

Our 24-month rotation program will provide you with deep insights into various engineering functions within our Global Technical Operations Organization. You'll be based in the U.S. with rotations taking you to Europe (Germany and Spain) in order to expand your knowledge of relevant processes, to understand how we work together across locations and to build a global network.

A significant amount of time will be spent abroad. You'll gain experience in both day-to-day business and project work, as well as managing your own independent projects. We'll support you with intensive on-the-job training, mentoring by an experienced senior manager, coaching and training opportunities. 
  • International Rotation Plan
    • Program duration: 24 months
    • Number and lengths of rotations: Four major rotations in engineering-related departments, each rotation lasting 5—6 months. Supplementary short-term assignments and job shadowing opportunities lasting a few days up to several weeks allow you to interface with additional relevant departments.
    • Home base: Our regional U.S. headquarters in Germantown, Maryland
    • International rotations: Compulsory rotations to our European operational headquarters in Germany (Hilden, Greater Dusseldorf area) as well as to our subsidiary in Spain (Barcelona). We provide assistance with finding accommodations and making travel arrangements. Costs for your stays abroad are covered by the program.

You'll need to be fluent in English with a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering, preferably with a focus on Electrical and Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics Engineering or Systems Engineering. We're also looking for you to have:
  • Some prior relevant professional experience from internships or similar
  • Willingness to spend a large part of the 24-month program in Europe
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Evidence of effective decision making with a strong sense of accountability 
  • An ability to think innovatively
  • Familiarity with change management
  • Excellent knowledge of common Microsoft Office applications
