Why does the QIAcube sometimes fail to pick up the tips or pick up wrong tips?

Customers are advised to use dedicated Qiagen tips to perform runs on the QIAcube. Ensure correct tips are loaded properly into the tip box.  If a 200ul tip has been loaded into a 1000ul tip box, it will be used as a 1000ul tip. If the QIAcube fails to pick up the tip, it could be due to a dirty tipcheck sensor or a defective O-ring. In that case, cleaning the sensor and changing the O-ring should rectify the problem.  Customers are advised to perform the tightness test to confirm whether the O-ring needs to be changed.
