What to do if there is a loss of communication for the Rotor-Gene Q?

If using a USB or serial cable connection, ensure the cords are secure and in the correct COM port. Verify the correct COM port is selected in the Software. COM port setting can be check in the software by going to FILE/Setup. You can select the COM port via the pull down field or click on Auto-Detect.  Restart the cycler and software to see if communication has been restored. If not, then contact QIAGEN Technical Service.
