What voltage should be used to run my agarose gel with the GelPilot Agarose?

We recommend running agarose gels at 4–10 volts/cm under horizontal electrophoretic conditions. Higher voltage may result in band streaking while lower voltage may result in reduced mobility of small (<1000 bp) DNA and diffusion.   We recommend using QIAGEN's GelPilot Agarose products for separation of amplified products by agarose gel electrophoresis.
