Aside from the OTV test, what other maintenance should be done for the Rotor-Gene Q?

Optical performance can be maintained by cleaning the optical lenses. Gently wipe the lens with a cotton tip moistened with ethanol. Keep work space clean and air vents on the Rotor-Gene Q clear of any possible obstructions (i.e. paper). Keep Rotor-Gene Q lid closed when not in use. The rotor chamber can be wiped using a lint-free cloth moistened with .1% (v/v) bleach followed by a lint-free cloth moistened with PCR-grade water.
