What is the EasyXtal 15-Well Tool made of?

The 15-well plate of the EasyXtal Tool for protein crystallization is made of an optically clear plastic material that offers good resistance to evaporation and thus minimizes the loss of crystallization solutions through its walls.  The crystallization supports are made of proprietary plastic that does not adsorb protein and whose hydrophobic properties are similar to siliconized glass cover slides. Therefore there is no need to siliconize the supports. Each crystallization support is dust-free and ready to use.
