The SpeedXtract Virus Kit is designed for rapid extraction of viral nucleic acids that can be used directly in downstream applications. However, extracted nucleic acids can be stored up to 24 hours at 4°C or up to one week at −20 to −80 °C. Depending on your sample type and target organism this may lead to loss in amplification performance.
