The shaker is controlled by the QIAsoft Operating System, and can be programmed to run at speeds of 200–1100 rpm. The shaking direction can be automatically reversed. The system can accommodate 1–4 microplates or other labware with the same base dimensions. Maximum load capacity on the shaker is 800 g.
