We are excited to announce that from July 2017 your system will experience further updates which will unlock the significant additional advancements described below
Application improvements include:
- QIAact Lung RNA Panel (cat. no. 181935) is based on unique molecular indexing technology and, when combined with the GeneRead QIAact Lung DNA Panel (cat. no. 181930), ensures maximum actionability for lung cancer samples from Sample to Insight. A combined variant-interpretation report with both DNA and RNA fusion-assay results is provided.

- Automation of QIAact Lung DNA library prep on the QIAcube using the new GeneRead QIAact Panel Cleanup Kit (cat. no. 185446)
- Custom configuration of analysis workflows, allowing inclusion of variants detected with lower frequency for review in the QIAGEN Clinical Insight (QCI) Analyze report
Data management improvements include:
- The launch of the GeneRead Databank (cat. no. 902564), our data storage and archiving solution which:
- Ensures sufficient free disc space to continuously operate your GeneReader instrument
- Automatically moves data to a long term archive solution of your choice such as a network attached storage (NAS) device or Microsoft Azure Blob storage cloud storage
- Is a central data repository to search and query your GeneReader run data
